Should You Redesign or Completely Rebuild Your Website?
A full rebuild isn't always necessary. The right approach depends on your site's condition, your business requirements, technical limitations, and budget.
Update the design
Often fits when: The structure and content are solid, but the look is dated.
Improve specific pages & features
Often fits when: A few pages or features are holding things back.
Rebuild on the current platform
Often fits when: The platform is fine, but the theme or layouts are hard to maintain.
Migrate to a different platform
Often fits when: The current platform can't support what your business needs.
Effort and cost generally increase from left to right.
Modernize Your Website Without Overlooking Your SEO.
An existing website may already have search visibility: indexed pages, links from other sites, and URLs people have bookmarked. Changing everything at once without a plan can undo some of that.
Extensive SEO migration work may require a separately quoted scope, and no redesign can guarantee every existing ranking is preserved.
- 1Review important existing URLs
- 2Preserve valuable content
- 3Plan redirects when URLs change
- 4Maintain relevant metadata
- 5Check internal links
- 6Test mobile usability
- 7Review indexing after launch

Website Redesign Questions.
How much does a website redesign cost?
It depends on the number of pages, your current site's condition, technical requirements, and whether a full rebuild is needed. For reference, our general website packages start at $500 (up to 3 pages) and $1,500 (up to 7 pages), with custom work quoted by scope — these aren't guaranteed redesign prices. You'll get a written proposal before any work begins.
Can you redesign my existing WordPress website?
Yes. WordPress redesigns are one of our most common projects. We review your content, theme, and plugins first so we keep what works and replace what doesn't.
Can I keep my current domain?
Yes. Your domain belongs to you, and a redesign normally keeps the same domain. We'll coordinate any hosting or DNS changes if they're part of the project.
Will I lose my existing Google rankings?
A redesign can affect rankings, especially if URLs or content change. We plan for this by reviewing important pages, preserving valuable content, and setting up redirects where URLs change — but no one can guarantee every existing ranking will be preserved.
Can you redesign a website built with Elementor or Divi?
Yes. We redesign both Elementor and Divi websites, and can either keep the existing builder or recommend a change if it makes sense for your goals.
Do I need to rewrite all my website content?
Usually not. Much of your existing content can be kept, reorganized, or lightly updated. Professional copywriting is available as a separate cost if you'd like help rewriting pages.
How long does a website redesign take?
It depends on the size of the site, how much needs to change, and how quickly feedback and content come together. Your written proposal outlines the expected timeline for your specific project.
Can you redesign my website without changing platforms?
Often, yes. If your current platform is in reasonable shape, we can redesign the site where it is. If there are serious technical limitations, we'll explain the trade-offs of migrating.
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Yes. Every redesign includes responsive layouts and testing on phones, tablets, and desktops.
